From April 19th to May 9th 2010
Maximum Occupancy - from 8am to 11pm, an ensemble of artists will share the Tangente studio in order to complete a cross-sectional research on a choreographic topic of their choice. Considering artistic residence from this point of view allows from a collaboration between peers and the sharing of resources and ideas. It's a path of solutions to make up for the present precariousness in which these dance artists practice their craft.

The studio doors will be open for nine public performances. Each evening, six choreographers will present the fruit of their shared choreographic research.
Éprouvette 1 - April 23rd and 24th at 7:30PM and April 25th at 4PM,
Éprouvette 2 - April 30th, May 1st at 7:30PM and May 2nd at 4PM,
Éprouvette 3 - May 7th and 8th at 7:30PM and May 9th at 4PM.
3 round table discussions =
Three round table discussions will reunite diverse personalities from the dance community : journalists, producers, dance school teachers, choreographers, dancers, mentors, etc... They aim for mobilization and for dialogue between the participants and the audience on the present stakes and the collective future of contemporary dance. We propose solutions in the short term as well as the long term.
